Senior Year.....WHAT!!
Well this is my Senior year, and Yes it is starting to sink in everything but yet I still feel so excited for the opportunities to head off to college. I won't come quite that easily though because I have to get through this year, which is fun and deserves all my attention. I think I got through the biggest week of my life by making it past homecoming week. I have never planned so much in my life. There was constant work to be done, we did a saltine cracker slap for our kick off assembly and it went really good, then we had a volleyball game of boy's soccer verses boy's football I got to coach the boy's soccer..hehe that was lots of fun. We had a lot of activities during lunch like the rootbeer chug and senior lost because a boy wouldn't step up to do it, and we had stick savors licking gummy life savors and sticking them on a person's face. There was our volleyball breast cancer game and we dressed up in all pink shirts and socks, but ended up lossing our game. Then of course the Powder Puff game and wow that was too fun I didn't get killed and that's a benefit I also played quite a bit, I was proud of how much I learned about football it means a little more to me now, though I still love the quote "soccer is for boy's, football is for whimps, rugby is for men" !! Our homecoming football game was fun because all the seniors from last year came and it was awesome to talk to all of them again. Though we lost the game :( For the dance I had my first expereince setting and decorating which didn't go the smoothest it could have but its alright, I learned my lessons and am preparing much better for prom. I didn't get asked to homecoming this year but It didn't bother me to much, Im just going with the flow on the whole boy thing, I have lots of good guy friends that I enjoy hanging out with, and NOW there all leaving on missions which is hard to believe but so exciting! Everything else in school is keepign me very busy vollebyall season was time consuming but after all was said and done I just don't know what ot do with myself. The heartbreaker was on districts day within the first ten minutes of the first game I rolled my ankle badly on top of a girls foot, and I was in so much pain I was taken to the doctor and got it x-rayed but thankfully found out it was just a bad sprain and I tore a ligament but I have to wear a brace for a month or so. It was so hard not to play in my last couple of games though, I wanted to be there so badly. I have turned in my first two college applications one to Idaho State University and another to University of Idaho, and am working on filling out scholarships like a mad women. Im not sure what exactly I will do but Im putting together all that I can and come towards the end of the year I can look at it all and figure out where I feel I need and should be!
